The hotel and its conference centre, which can seat up to 3000, only uses about 100 kWh/m2 per year thanks to its highly specialised energy management system, its 1000 m2 double glass facade solar collector and cooling by using water from the lake Mälaren.

The brand-new hotel has several of the latest energy-saving technologies installed such as a condensation boiler, triple glazing, motion sensors and energy efficient lighting. The air conditioning's condensation water is used to flush the toilets. Finally, its 3 green roof tops provide excellent insulation and give the city a greener look.
